30 top innovative companieswere selected to present at the South East Europe Tech Tour 2019to be held on 28 May in Bucharestand on 29 May in Sofia. They won a rigorous strong competition among hundreds tech companies from 13 countriesfrom across the region.


The South East Europe Tech Tour 2019 is a 2-day business eventaiming to showcase the SEE region on the radar for many. South Eastern Europe is realizing one of the highest economic growth and performing a hotspot for thriving entrepreneurial ecosystems that have generated $5 billion in liquidity back to investors in the past few years.


The Tour will give the floor to30 of the most promising high technology companies from SEE region:

  • Bucharest, 28 May– from Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Moldova, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine;
  • Sofia, 29 May– from Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Greece, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia.


Selection Process

Over 150 companieswent through a rigorous review process and be assessed based on the uniqueness of their technology, the strength of their business model, vision, capability to execute on the business plan, and the quality and track record of their management. The selected innovative companies will present their business to an invited delegation of 40 international investors, active in the region as well as 40 local investors and regional key players.


The selection process will be led by a Selection Committeethat unites leading international investors and senior business leaders among which Alexander Galitsky, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Almaz Capital (USA) and Marius Ghenea, Investment Director of 3TS Capital Partners (Austria).
